I was in the RFE situation as well when I140 Premium (EB3) has been filed.
They asked tax returns of my company for last 2 years. The only thing I want to add to previuos posts, that your lawyer should hurry up with an answer - I remember that in my case i 72 hours to respond have been given. After receiving additional docs, they approved it in 1 or 2 days.

Yes you can, as long as you continue to work for the employer that has sponsored you for the Green Card.

3. Drive cross country with family and have fun. Meet all my friends on the way.
4. Return the van in San Francisco, take one way ticket to India.

I went through the same ordeal about a year and a half ago. After unsuccessful attempts to buy it on my own through internet companies, I went to a good agent who got me a 20 year term life policy with a AAA rated company for about $220/year for a 500,000 coverage. Basically, I got the same rate an US citizen would get. I would advise you to go through an agent, they can do multiple quote and many are knowledgeable about H1 visas and the best thing is you don't pay any thing extra because the agents get their commission from the insurance companies. Hope this helps

I dont think we should be talking about it over here. It surely looks like more of Indian site and not a Immigration Only related conversation. We should focus on what our problems are right now. Nuclear deal is not going to help or reduse our wait for Green Card.

for an appeal they will tell you in the denial notice how much time you have. For a motion-to-reconsider/reopen the deadline is typically 30 days. Again, confirm everything with attorney, and keep them on their toes (check status with them every couple of days).
I think you will receive the RFE on time (its only been 8 days since the USCIS note about the RFE, it does take upto 2 weeks for attorneys to receive it).

Asking for the WOM to be dismissed on the grounds that it is discretionary is a standard tactic -- both for citizenship and I-485. The courts aren't buying it. Depending on your district and the particular judge, your chances of getting the motion to dismiss thrown out are very good.

Any thoughts why EB2 India hasn't gone beyond Apr 04 for over a year.
Is this because of EB3 to EB2 conversions? If so then the likelihood of EB2 - I dates moving a lot in Oct bulletin are low.
Are there any 'guesstimates' out there for the number of EB3 to EB2 conversions?

A potential employer has offered me to substitute 2001 EB3 labor. Would DOL accept unapproved labor substitution ? what is the probability of rejection (assuming there is very good match).
What kind of queries can we expect from the DOL ? what questions should I ask the potential employer ?

Thanks. I did contact USCIS and they have accepted my request to expidite the cast. It is to be seen if it will actually happen.
My other question is, if my renewal does not come through in-time, since the renewal application is in system, can I continue working after the expiry of my current EAD? Or do I have to quit the job and/or leave the country?

Do not ask us to send junk emails or sign some useless online petition though in your action item.

Just use available tools to educate people using simple terms. Using 6-degree rule we should be able to reach lots of people.
