EAD needs same or similar job requirement as petitioned in your labor.
With this economy going south and as forecasted will recover after 2nd quarter of 2010, I hope you have sufficient funds to keep the business working. People are getting laid off. Walmart made good bucks during the recession. If i were you, i would buy a 99 cents store or a dollar store to keep up with this recession.

You cannot work on EAD...but if you apply for EAD replacement and if you received receipt, then you can work on receipt for 90 days. Hope this helps.

I left it blank and specifically asked my attorney if i can leave it blank , he said its ok .
If it is filled, it is okay, not filled, still it is okay... Its probably more important for East Asian countries who do not work in English such as Korea or China. For the places which works in English, its no big deal...
Please note that the form is intended to help Law Agencis in USA such as FBI/CIA to find authenticate the info provided by you. They might contact your home country cops to find out more about you. In case where home country cop may not know English, they would want to know native lang name so that Home Country cop can read it....Most places can read-write English now a days....So this is not an issue....

Hi,
My wife's EAD card returned back and message showing , card returned by Postal, undeliverable and need response by 180 days with update the address, yesterday's message.
Actually she got her FP and EAD notice receipt number to the same address, but card returned back.
But in this case I saw 20days back, card production ordered and sent the notice. And I am waiting for the card to be delivered and 30days to wait to ask customer service.
Request:
Can you please let me know , how to reach customer service representative with options type?.

My current employer gurantee that he will not withdraw I-140. I also talked to lawyer and she said it is individual choice but it is always good to let USCIS know since your case is pending..

We recd. our 485 approval last week and recd. the cards in the mail earlier this week. We were interviewed at the local USCIS for our 485's, 2 weeks ago. It went really smooth and case was approved the same day as the interview.
I would like to whole-heartedly thank IV core and all IV members. This site has been an amazing resource of information & support for us thru our journey. I became a IV member during the July 2007 fiasco. We were there at the IV rally in DC in Sept 2007, have attended local chapter meetings. We will continue to support IV in it's mission.

For me, my attorney's filed successor in interest I-140 after I filed I-485 due to merger. I faced no issues with this process and you can request them to file the same at your end. This did not affect my I-485.

This is ridiculous for the JUNE 2001 PD. They kept it and slept on it all these years and now denied without notice.
EB3 with PD June 2001 and I-485 was applied with RD of Oct 2002.
The online case tracking system has the status of case received and pending
Meanwhile, a call to USCIS revealed about the I-485 denial in Nov, 2005.
The I-485 was denied in Nov 2005 and we were not notified by USCIS and my attorney also did not get any denial notice.
How can the case be denied with out any notice? Do we have precedence on this level by USCIS?
I did a FP appt in Jan 2006 though.
I have been asked to refile I-485 now.

I dont have any changes to status when I check my 485 case status online but today in the mail i received I797c notice welcoming me as a premenant residence. I am a bit hesitant to celebrate, but am I seeing green?:o

Hi, i was looking at Murthy chat log and it states since H1b is a dual intend visa one may keep H1b status and do part time job on EAD ... she did mention that the rules is not crystal clear on some of these issues, but the doctrine of dual intent allows a person to be in both the I-485 and H1B statuses and allows him/her to file H1B extensions, even if the EAD has been used for work, etc., has anyone done that in the past or knows somenone please reply?
