This was big surprize to me. Mine and my spuse had hard LUD on our I485 with the current status as :Notice Returned as Undeliverable. There wer no other updates or status change or approval or denial or soft LUD etc.
The most surpising to me that both of us received the Finger Printing notices on our new address just a month ago.
This is really frustrating.
When I called up the 800 number the lady said just ignore this status as this is some computer glitch.
Dont know what to do just believe her or try to do something else?
Need help ! any one out there in same situation???

A co-worker and I applied together at exactly the same time.
We got approvals for LC and I-140 within weeks of each other.
Now, our PD became current in September 2006, he got approved a few days ago and...I found out I am stuck in the name check shit!
FYI, his name is extremely common and mine is extremely rare (in my entire life, I have never met someone with the same name!), so go figure...:confused: :confused: :confused:

I was going thru my Reciepts & Approval letters and I found different A numbers on I-140 & I-485. Anybody have similar issue ? Is that normal or do I need to be concerned about ?
I-140 Reciept : No A Number
I-140 Approvel Number 1
I-485 Reciept : Number 2
EAD/FP/AP : Number 2
I juz found this after my H1 extension was approved only for 1 year. I was under the assumption that with I-140 Approved I would get 3 yr extension. Interestingly during the H1 Extension process USCIS have touched all my files (485/EAD/AP) but not I-140
Is this anything I need to be concerned about ? Appreciate your suggestions

Here is the problem. So by this token, does it mean that IT Project managers either need to be classified as CIS managers or not get classified at all? This is absurd.
The attorney is not giving out any suggestions on what to do as they already filed, got a high PW and appealed which got denied.
The attorney is suggesting to refile, something I don't think is going to change the outcome.

Just got H1 7th year ext approved. Planning a trip to Chennai in Nov. Tried to get the VFS appointment and nothing is there for this year. There used to be an emergency appointment link and it's no longer there. Am I missing something?

so can anyone confirm this 'no FP if filed via paper' thing?
As for mailing address, I guess if I do courier the package they all have the same address (N. augustine rd). So in that case, I can send them all in the same packet.

Here is my situation.My Pirority date is March 2005 and my category is EB3. My 485 and my spouse;s ( as my dependent) was filed through my compnay on July 2nd.
My spouse's company's had independently started processing is GC under EB2.His priority date is June 2007.He got his labor approved last week and is eligible for i-140 and 485 right now.
At this time, which category is most benefitial to us? EB3 from March 2005 or EB2 from July 2007?
