Some times airline people don't even bother to collect the I94. It happend to me twice and I still have those old I94s. I think they will just collect it if you have it on the passport. They will scan your password for your depature entry which is more important. I think you should have not any problem.

Realistically I feel we (i.e. High Skilled Immigrant community) what the Jews went through during WWII at the hands of the Nazis.
Cornered from ALL sides.
Helpless.
Discriminated against (due to our skills and since we are willing to work like dogs, good deal for US employers)
About to be driven out of this country. (H1 expires shortly and no sign of EAD or GC)
And finally about to be MASSACRED. (at the hands of the Obama's of this world)
US is no longer attractive to top immigrant talent that actually made USA what it is today.

You may have ....I did not. The so called software professionals have no other avenue than coming through the bodyshops. Infy, TCS and Wippro are no different than other desi bodyshops. Its the difference between a nice hair cutting saloon and a road side one. Infy, TCS are nice hair cutting saloon.
Its not a question about feeling the pinch. Its about the validity of credentials. Most of underskilled people get undue advantage by working at these bodyshops.
You can not simply say that Infy,TCS/Wipro are nice. Through body shoppers you have an oppertunity to earn more. Through Infy,TCS/Wipro, you would get designation.

Hello,
I am currently working as full time and planning to move to consulting. I have the below questions
(i) I know its a bit risky to move to consulting right now compared to Fulltime, but still i See the H1 petetions for most of consutling companies are getting approved.
Do you think is it OK to move to consulting from Full time?
(ii)As client letter is mandatory these dayz, whats the best approach to apply for transfer? Like e finding the project and proceed for premium processing

A) 140 or 485 gets denied and you're on EAD (it means you've already given up your H-1B)
B) 140 gets denied and you're on H-1B (it means you can't use EAD and you can't even stay in this country for 3-4 months without a job on H-1B and still maintain your status)

Our current immigration problems are a great reason to unite, to strive to achieve a worthwhile goal. Sure we're facing challenges but, in my opinion, we have a lot to be grateful for. One has only to read the aforementioned CNN article to see just how tough life can be when it chooses to be. My green card problems (only mine, not yours) certainly seem trivial compared to the lifetime of pain life has visited upon those women. Read it-say a prayer for those less fortunate souls-and then resume the struggle with renewed determination.
We will prevail.

My apologies if everyone is sick of looking at my flower images. This bloom is from what we call spider plants. They're a unique very open bloom with just a few petals and long stamens/anthers. Separating out one bloom and getting enough DOF proved very difficult to impossible. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi,
It appears TSC (Texas Service Center) started using new system CHAMPS, which is not connected to the online case status system.
Any one saw either SOFT / HARD LUDs on their cases pending in TSC in last two / three months?

USCIS is not updating the online status. Mine got approved and I received it in mail. But still the online status remains as pending.

Thanks. Could you tell me more details if possible through a PM? I applied last year. During that month PD had gone from 2004 to 2003 to 2000 to U and then back to 2003. My PD was March 15 2004. Yes I could have waited for PD to become current and of course I would have preferred EAD for my wife. But you know as well as I do how the PD movement is. There is no way to tell what the PD will be next month. Knowing how these consultancies work we had investigated a lot. We talked to couple of people who had worked for him and they recommended him. They said they haldnt got any trouble from him. So we went ahead. I agree it was a mistake. But anyway whats done is done. Now just looking ahead.

It's too early to make a judgment on this since I haven't seen the actual text of this bill. With Sen.Sessions history, I highly doubt whether there is anything good to EB folks in this bill.
