-> H1 (797 approval notice) is valid
-> you enter USA on AP, you will get AOS status.
-> H1 is still valid but unusable as the status is AOS.
-> If anything happens to GC processing then you loose status, H1 will NOT become a backup.
-> The only way you change from AOS to visa status is by renewing your H1 or change jobs with H1 ( or reenter USA on H1 Visa ).

As a loyal reader of greatandhra.com shared a blasphemous incident with us through mail and we have written and uploaded that news yesterday. And that is about Lord Ganesh�s picture on beer bottles made by one of the US breweries.

Countless mails have inundated the mail box of greatandhra.com admin with sharing of anguish by hundreds of readers for this blasphemous act of that breweries company. They stated that they have contacted that Lost Coast Brewery with a complaint and also forwarded the response mails from that company. All the forwarded mails have got the same �copy-paste� response from Lost Coast GM/Sales. Here is that:
�Your words, thoughts and beliefs are part of a culture that I personally respect and believe that the owner group of the brewery share with me. Please note that I will act to evaluate this issue and meet directly with the owner group towards mitigating your concerns. It is good that many are fighting with that company to see the bottles removed from stalls immediately. The follow up on this incident requires continuous force and Hindu community should see that such blasphemy will not repeat again. And also ensure that those beer bottles are not in market with Lord Ganesh or any other divine picture of Hindu religion. Some suggested to make this news reach Sivasena, RSS and VHP as well. And we wish our readers do that as the voice of thousands will be louder than that of one.

Hi:
I am a july 2nd filer but had issues with my checks since my Bank account got closed due to fraduent activity. So not being sure if my checks would get cleared I applied second time on Aug 17th. Yesterday the bank was successfuly able ot channel my July 2nd checks to my new account and hence I need to withdraw my second application since my first one went through successfully. I had originally filed at NSC, but got transferred to TSC. Can someone help me on the procedure how to withdraw my second application and also not lose money from the checks on the second application.

Hi Kitiara,
Ive had a look at your animation, and Ive got the size down roughly another 2k.
What I did was I opened up the animation in fireworks and exported/optimised each layer, then I reopened each image and put them back on the canvas which I then trimmed to match your layers.
What you could try is to only use photoshop for the image work and apply the text from fireworks, I'm not sure if this would make much of a difference but it might reduce it a further couple of k.:bandit:

My company applied for PERM as a project manager for me. It got classified as Computer information systems manager and got a very high PW.
My company knows the job I am doing is not CIS manager's job. So they appealed it, but the appeal was denied and DOL insists that it is CISM and the pay should be this high.
I have not come across a single PM making this pay (though I wouldn't object to it if I can get it :) ). This is totally absurd.
How do we prove that PM != CIS Manager and get Project manager certified under EB2 with proper wages?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If black and whites are acceptable then i think you can make copies of an existing one, just make sure you copy it at your employers copier that too in the working hours, that's the Cheapest way of doing it.:D

From Poll results, it seems there r 3 people who got their FP notices already. Just want to make sure--you guys are NSC->CSC->NSC transfer cases or was it Xfr'd to TSC?

When you are with the same company that files your GC (not Ac21) is it fine if the amount on W2 (for each year) is less than the amount mentioned on the LC. Is there a safe zone bracket . Since GC is for future job I was wondering if it is a must that the W2 should reflect the amount that is more or at least same as the amount on the LC.

While your I-140 is in MTR process, you can switch to another job on h1b and start PERM process and then I-140 immediately. Since your 6 years on h1b are up, make sure the new process qualifies you for further h1b extensions(beyond 6 years) based on 365 day rule.
My guess is, if your I-140 gets denied, your h1b with 3 years of validity is not going to be valid any longer. Because you got that extension based on your previous labor and I-140. You have to jump to new GC process as soon as possible.
Also, talk to your lawyer. Hold my opinion as mere opinion.

After a lots of effort I got chance to meet the great man J.B. Wow he was very nice. I told hime everything and showed the FedEx print out which he signed for the 485 delivery.
He appologised several times and went inside to the mail room after 40 minutes he came with a +'ve result with another appologies for his mistake. He told that the some of the packages are piled under the desk (hiding for the eyes) and he coudn't move the packages to clearks room. He moved a bunch of fedEx package to the clearks room, and took mine seperate from the bunch and put a note to the cleark saying his mistakes.
I thanked him and went to hotel room, after couple of hours I got call from MR.J.B and gave the receipt # for my whole family. I thanked him for the courtosy and afternnon I again I went to meet J.B and thanked again and tiped around $ 100, suddenly he started yelling at me...oh man..this was my fault, and u tiping for Nonsence....I got panicked and start sweating....

It means if you have aa approved I-140 and your priority date is not current (Which will be after August 17th), you will qualify for 3 year extension of H1B. Hope this helps.

I am currently on OPT which is valid till July 2009. Also, my H1-B is approved through a company X starting oct 2008. Currently I got a job with company Y on my OPT. Can I continue to work on my OPT with company Y till July 2009? OR Do I need to transfer my H1B to company Y from company X to be able to continue to work after Oct 2008? If so, do I need any paystubs from company X. What can be the start date on the offer letter from company X.
Please help. Your guidance is truly appreciated.

Anecdote: An acquaintance of mine was married for a year and then they had marital issues. His spouse started living separately here in the US and then went back to India. The guy went to India on a trip to see his ailing father. His ex-wife's parents filed a harassment/abuse case against him and he ended up being there for 2 years. In that period his 485 was considered abandoned inspite of being in the country for more than 10 years.
I do not know the exact reasons for their marital discord, never asked and never judged.
The one thing which this country should teach is not to judge another person. No one has the right to insult/judge another human being without knowing the facts. Even if you do know the facts, you have absolutely no business to talk nonsense. Just farting out of your mouths anonymously on a public forum does not make you wise or a person of character. Shame on the low-lives who made ugly comments about OP.

I wonder why she would have to get her H4 stamped? If she has an EAD and the AP - she should just use that. Isn't AP meant just for that? - To ignore the stamping hassle and just return safe.
