Yes, even when calling the person had to get an ATT manager to setup 700 Nation FamilyTalk A-List when I called 611. They rep said she lost A-list too on her console but the manager fixed it so it will setup in 24 hours... and said the online website will be fixed soon. This is the website process to see this new option - login to your ATT phone account, click "change rate plan", and then you'll see the "+" for the 700 Nation FamilyTalk plan. This just happened today.

Thanks for the donations by all who are eligible. I normally give every 8 weeks but am currently ineligible due to recent travels.
The rules on eligibility are pretty clear, dealing with different factors that can seriously raise the risk of infection or illness by the donor, the recipient or both. Everywhere I've donated, the questionnaire has been written as "have you done such-and-so" rather than passing judgment about one's life.
This probably isn't the right forum to debate the various factors and risks. Probably better suited for a medical research forum.
I disagree. I think this is a perfectly good place to discuss the matter.
No matter of public health policy is exists in a void. All public health concerns have a social component.
This policy will change over time, as a result of changing social mores, changing demographics and better detection technology. Even if this policy is not now discriminatory, for the latter two reasons, it will become very discriminatory. The timing and threshold for any given country or area will be different but as that line is crossed, there should be a group of people pointing out that a policy such as this is unfair and prejudicial. Not everyone will agree as that time comes, but things don't change because everyone kept quiet.
I don't think that threshold has been crossed in the US and the calls for lifting the restrictions are premature.

Its in really good condition and comes with original documentation, accessories, floppys, documentation box, etc.

thats not the issue i'm contesting, what i'm saying is why do most american parents take issue at their kids having sex, it makes no sense unless your kid is stupid and has random unsafe sex.

So like most people I tried to jailbreak my ipodtouch, but got it stuck on recovery mode, now I cant use my ipod touch, I dont know if I can recover it on itunes (but would rather not) so Im kind of desperate, HELP? :(

Well, I think the current reporting system should continue to work just fine. It's not too difficult for someone to put a direct statement into the text box describing the problem.
I think we can figure out the problem without it going into a specific category ahead of time. ;)

So what is the early upgrade price on Verizon?
Unless I am mistaken you cannot do early upgrade with Verizon. I thought that you had to wait until like 20 of your 24 months were up otherwise it was full retail price.
AT&T I think is just trying to make sure that people don't purchase phone, cancel and make money selling to eBay

The fact the we post on a forum or add some rubbish to Twitter or Facebook means that we have lost anonymity on the internet - but those actions are (hopefully) made with some thought to security settings.
The thing that irks me is that I appear to have left a trace / was tracked in a different country as i deliberately turned 'Aircraft mode' on to save roaming charges and only used the video camera on my iPhone whilst there.
I now know that despite 'disabling' wifi and gprs, there was a conversation with cell masts. Does it really matter? Not really - the country I visited wanted to know who I was in advance and scanned my passport on entry. Uk also knew that I had left the country.
I guess I am guilty as anyone NOT reading the EULA as properly as I should have done, but thought that I would have had assurance the the option could be disabled. That option did not work and now I wonder if the text Apple has left IS accurate. Do they track data and return it to Apple for some reason?

It has been suggested in a number of places that Apple simply underestimated the cost of free apps (to them) and is now trying to claw back revenue where it can (first by allowing in-app purchasing for free apps, something Jobs said would never happen: 'Free apps stay free', then via iAds, then via this subscription service) while at the same time providing a service to its customers (who do not have to enter their creditcard for every in-app purchase or subscription anymore).
The contention only started when Apple made in-App purchases and subscriptions exclusive to their method.

Fourth gen wasn't. None of them were. HP were very briefly licensed and were co-branding 3rd gens but that ended very quickly.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.

Oh, I beg to differ. I (and pretty much my entire family) are major Apple product users (day 1 iPhone users, etc). My brother uses the 3GS and I have the iPhone 4. Both of us report MAJOR change in battery drain over the past month or two. The battery drains 2-4 times faster than before. My battery drain was so significant I took it in for service. The apple store said that the battery checked out ok but that since the performance was off, they would do a battery switch-out... which turned out to be a new phone. However, the issue is identical. Now I must walk around with a charger as it can drain in just a couple hours, certainly in half a day, with only mild use. This is a major software issue and I hope it gets fixed. This is not just "bitching"...

None of these are Holiday related.
Personally, I try to avoid anything Holiday-related until I am done with school. Helps me keep the focus on important exams. So in eleven days, I'll change wallpaper ;)

It would be great if Final Cut Pro got updated. At the moment, Adobe Premiere Pro is quite a lot better and has a more modern interface, which is kind of strange, as FCP is the industry standard.
