I've never jailbroke a ipod touch before so I don't rely know how to do it.
I've got myself a ipod touch 32gb 4gen.
So could some one give me a guide on how to do it, it's running on 4.3.1

If being a real man equals only being able to ride slowly in a straight line and have a "pay attention to me" exhaust, then yes. (This also applies to sportbike riders in long beach, ca)
Otherwise, real men ride Triumphs. :cool:
My exhaust is a Screaming Eagle model, it's not "pay attention to me" at all. Harley stock exhausts aren't loud. A loud harley has aftermarket pipes or someone just unbolted the baffles.
And the dyna chassis is made for twisties just fine, but what's the point, a Harley is mostly to cruise or tour, why wouldn't I want to go slowly in a straight line ? What's the rush ? The fun is riding, not getting to a particular destination.
Of course the "real men" comment wasn't too bright, but your bashing of Harley-Davidsons is quite stereotypical and ignorant.

My Intel Mac Pro said that SMC did not need upgrading. My SMC Version is 1.7f8 as it should be. Some Intel Mac Pros may already have the SMC update done to them before they shipped. Mine was finished by about 9-8-06 & I received it on 9-12-06.

No way in hell. They've already asked their developers to change app resolutions once. 3 screen sizes will never fly with developers.

Okay... but look at the Android operating system... they ask developers to adjust their apps to every new Android phone that comes out, because the OS is slightly different depending on the phone. Asking them to change the resolution of their apps is not too big of a deal in comparison.

agreed. and i've seen other very active forums where they have give-aways and stuff for the "folder of the month" and such. i've even seen some members give other members video cards or computers, as long as they agree to use it for folding.
as far as a new system on a budget - what is your budget, and when do you plan on buying? both of those factors play a part
I was thinking could Arn not give out a paid subscription to the forums for a year say when you hit milestones of 250,000 points or so, so from Jan to Dec if you accumulate a minium you get the next year?
Budget is around AUS$800-1000, and I will be getting most of the parts in 3 to 4 months unless there is new tech coming not to long after it?

I am looking for the full schedule for the developer conference. Specifically, I need to know when we will be done on Friday. This will help me book my tickets back to my town. Can someone help me with this? ( If there is another thread specifically about the developer conference, please point me to that as well. )
Friday is usually the miscellaneous sessions day, when the less important (or popular I might say) sessions are held. Of course you can leave whenever you want but Friday is still a full day. I would plan on staying the entire day if you can. Leaving Saturday morning is best as you can relax on Friday :)

Girls don't think it's a big deal; as long as someone isn't pushy or annoying, they don't mind if someone asks, and they find it flattering, even when they say they're not interested. Just do it casually and matter-of-factly, and if she says no, no big deal. At least you won't be wondering if she's interested anymore.

I remember reading either here or on Appleinsider that if this goes well enough, they can use this chip to replace batteries. The thing with that is, if we take away the battery, where does the original power come from? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding that it'll take the heat from the cpu and convert it to electricity. If the computer was off and the cpu was the same temperature as the rest of the computer, how will it create the electricity? I'm all for using it, but as an addition to the battery, not a replacement for the battery.

Kudos to Microsoft for continuing to support Office 2004 (released in 2003) for 7 years after it was released. That's a pretty long time of support. Apparently it will continue until January.

To be fair, Justin Long's name was known before the Apple ads. As well as John Hodgman's. Justin for Dodgeball, and John for his stints on the Daily Show.
Those two actor's names are only known in America, I'm sure Japanese have never heard of them (and probably don't care much either), Australians wouldn't know who they are.
